Visual MODFLOW Flex is a software for simulating groundwater. Don’t just see this as a simple graphical shell for the ModFlow simulation system! Exploring the process of solute transport, analysis and calibration tools, and most importantly the ability to visualize the data in 3D, fulfills all that you would expect from a groundwater simulator. Gathering all of these tools into a single graphical platform will save you a lot of time because you don’t have to go through separate software for each part of the project.

This software provides you with all the tools needed to assess and evaluate water quality issues at the local and regional scales, groundwater and water conservation issues. Since modeling in this software is done in 3D, you do not need to modify it after designing the model. All data changes are reflected in the 3D model. It will be easier to see a 3D image from the numerical analysis of the information tables.

The program has focused heavily on 3D modeling processes and we have seen many improvements in each edition. This program can be considered as one of the serious impediments to GMS software. It works well in processing large volumes of data, and with the release of 64-bit versions, there is virtually no computational constraint imposed by the operating system on the application processing process. The more power your hardware has, the higher the processing speed. It allows you to easily compare models and see the progress of different models, as well as producing accurate and detailed information reports with just a few clicks.

*If you intend to work with larger models, it is recommended that you use 64-bit version of Visual MODFLOW Flex and increase your RAM above the minimum requirements.

Microsoft Office (2000 or later). If you do not have Office, you must install the Microsoft Access Database Engine.
