Description

Ethical Hacking: Design Command and Control using Python 3. This course will show you how to design and build a complete and functional Command and Control tool using the Python 3 programming language. In this course, each section of the code used to implement this project is explained in detail. This project was originally done by the instructor a few years ago, but the code has been significantly improved during the recording of the training sessions. Therefore, you will have a live and real experience, because when errors occur, they will be new to you and the instructor. How you deal with these situations will also be recorded and hopefully you will learn from the process.

What you will learn in the course Ethical Hacking: Design Command and Control using Python 3

  • Python coding and how to build a feature-rich command and control tool that you can use for authorized cybersecurity experiments, fun, or educational purposes.
  • How to code the client and server parts of the tool and enable them to interact with each other
  • How to run client code on target computers that do not have Python installed
  • How to build client code for Windows or Linux operating systems
  • How to implement AES encryption for all traffic between client and server
  • How to implement the following features in your tool: reverse skin, key logging, screen capture, clipboard hijacking, volume boost, audio playback
  • And more features: display images, upload/download files, compress/encrypt files, extract/decrypt files
  • And more features: running operating system commands in the background, rotating the computer screen upwards, typing on the infected computer
  • How to allow multiple infected computers to communicate with the C2 server and change control over them
  • Numerous Python concepts and terms; explanation of each line or block of code
  • How to use Wireshark, Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL), Ubuntu Linux, and the PyCharm Community Edition Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
  • How to work with c2 server in a cloud and more

This course is suitable for people who:

Ideally, this course is suitable for people who have basic knowledge of at least one programming language and are interested in or have experience in ethical hacking/offensive cybersecurity and want to learn how to build their own tools. However, the instructor starts from the beginning and explains each line or block of code, so beginners can also follow along and learn. The full source code is available throughout the course, allowing people who don’t care to learn Python or those who already know Python to skip most of the lessons if they wish, but still be able to use the code.
