Advance Bit Programming in C/C++ course. This course is designed for systems programmers, kernel developers, embedded systems programmers, or anyone who needs to work with low-level (bit-level) memory manipulation. This is an advanced course in bitwise programming, so it is assumed that the student is already familiar with bitwise operators in C/C++. In this course, we will implement a bitmap library that is independent of word endings. A bitmap is nothing but an array of bits. We will implement some advanced operations on bitmaps. We will also learn about the concept of masks and wildcards and how to use them. We conclude the course by implementing some real-world problems and data structures that conceptually work at the bit level. For example, Bloom filters, checksums, file compression or encryption algorithms.
