One of the techniques that I use within my photography work – whether it’s in live music, commercial work or portraiture – is experimenting with how motion is portrayed and positioned within my work.  Frequently, you’ll find me utilising motion blur to create standout images from a nightlife shoot, or mixing frozen motion and motion blur within my studio work.

In this class, we’re going to be exploring why you might want to make motion the focus of your images and how you can achieve that.
