• In this discussion after considering how and why I shifted from being a professional landscape photographer to one who makes expressionistic abstract images, I endeavour to explore abstract photography.
• Why is abstract work so difficult to visualise in the field and process in the studio?
• Why does our audience find it harder to understand than representational work? 
• What can help us make compelling abstract images?
• How can we as photographers learn from abstract artists?
