ODAC is a library of components that allow connecting to Oracle databases in Delphi, C ++ Builder, Lazarus and Free Pascal on the platforms of Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, Linux and FreeBSD on both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms. The library is intended to speed up developers’ access to Oracle databases. ODAC stands for Oracle Data Access Components and is a complete and optimal solution with extensive capabilities for connecting to Oracle. This product is a good replacement for BDE or Borland Database Engin databases and standard dbExpress drivers.

ODAC supports Oracle servers: 12c, 11g, 10g, 9i, 8i, 8.0, and 7.3, including Oracle Express Edition 11g and 10g. ODAC supports both x86 and x64 versions of the following Oracle Clients: 12c, 11g, 10g, 9i, 8i, 8.0, and 7.3. Note that support for x64 versions of Oracle Clients is available in Delphi and C ++ Builder for 64-bit Windows.
