CYPE guarantees the compatibility of its software with the following operating systems:

Macintosh operating system requirements

• Hardware requirements
  • A Macintosh computer with an Intel processor (1.66 GHz or higher) is required. To execute 64 bit operating systems on virtual machines, an Intel Core 2 or higher processor is required.
  • At least 1 GB memory (2 GB memory recommended).
    Note : Your Mac computer must have enough memory to execute Mac OS X and its application, as well as the memory required for the operating system of the virtual machine and the application installed on it.
  • Approximately 300 MB of disk space on the startup volume to install Parallels Desktop.
  • Approximately 15 GB of disk space for each virtual machine.
• Software requirements
  • Mac OS X v10.4.11 or higher

• Linux operating system requirements
  

• Linux version
  Users must have a Linux version installed which supports Wine 1.01. At CYPE, we have carried out the relevant checks with Linux Ubuntu 10.04.
• Wine 1.01
  A version equal to or higher than Wine 1.01 must be installed.
  Wine is the acronym of \\\”Wine Is Not An Emulator\\\”. It consists of an IT application that was created so programs designed for use on Microsoft Windows operating systems could be used with Linux.

• CYPE program conditions
  
  • CYPE program versions
    The CYPE program version installed on the computer must be at least the 2011.a version.
  • Protection system of the professional version of CYPE programs
    The safety device allowing users to access the acquired modules and programs must:
    • An electronic license
    • A physical multi-post license
      In this case the security key must be installed on a computer running one of the compatible Microsoft Windows operating systems. The remaining network posts can work with CYPE programs running on a computer running a Linux operating system as long as it complies with the requirements specified in the Linux operating system requirements.

    When the security device is a physical single-post license, it is not possible for CYPE programs to work with a Linux operating system. If you would like to work with Linux and CYPE programs, please contact us to change your protection device to an electronic key .
