Description

ANSYS Fluent is a computer-aided engineering software in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for modeling fluid flow and heat transfer in complex geometries. Fluent provides the ability to change the grid completely and analyze the flow with unstructured grids for complex geometries. Types of meshes produced and received by this software group include networks with triangular and quadrilateral elements (for 2D geometries) and foursquare, hexagonal, pyramidal wedge (for 3D geometries).
Innes Fluent also allows the user to improve the grid (for example, shredding or gridding the grid to the boundaries and places in geometry). This optimization for network and solution provides the user with the ability to enhance the results in areas with large edges (such as boundary layer, etc.). These capabilities significantly reduce the time it takes to build a good network compared to the solution in structured networks. The software is written in C programming language and takes full advantage of its flexibility. Fluent enables dynamic memory usage, proper data and information structure, and flexible computing control.

Installation guide

After installation, copy the license file to the default C: \\ Fluent.Inc \\ license path.

The newly installed license has no time limit.

The Windows version, using a separate license, was installed and successfully activated on September 10, 2006 in Windows 10 64-bit; apparently there are some problems with the software\’s performance in the new Windows 10 builds.
