3D-Tool is a useful tool for displaying 2D and 3D CAD files. The program is capable of unlocking everything from maps, assemblies, animations, and so on without showing any downtime. In doing so, the program makes no difference between 2D and 3D files. In terms of 3D CAD files, the outputs of the software Katya , Peru Enginger, Inventor , Siemens NX , Solidwork and Solid Edge all open well with this software. In addition to CAD files, the program also can open 3D images in JT, STEP, IGS, VDA, SAT, X_T, X_B, STL, VRML, PLY, 3DS, XGL, OBJ formats. There is no need to introduce 2D CAD files, DXF, DWG and HPGL are all easy to open and the components are seamless.

The 3D-Tool is not only designed to open CAD files, it can perform any type of analysis and measurement on these files with various functions. For example, you can calculate things like distance, angle, radius, length, wall thickness, area, volume, weight, and so on. You can also compare the two models in terms of sizes. This software makes it easy to convert CAD files between the different software mentioned above in a number of ways. The program has a simple user interface and can be learned in as little time as possible.

Hardware Requirements

For the 3D-Tool CAD viewer and converter we recommend a Desktop-PC, Laptop, or Tablet-PC with a standard processor, 4GB of RAM or more, and a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels or more.

The speed of opening and converting CAD files using the 3D-Advanced and Premium Interfaces depends on the processor speed and the amount of RAM available. With increasing size CAD models require more computing power and main memory. For large and complex CAD models, we recommend a fast modern processor with at least 8GB of RAM or more.

* Premium Interfaces Under Windows 10 x86 (32bit)

We have extensively tested the Premium interfaces under Windows 10 x86 and have not found any noticeable problems. But the interface supplier doesn’t offer support for Windows 10 x86, so we can’t officially release 3D-Tool Premium for Windows 10 x86.
